The first thing to decide when trying to climb to the highest point in each County is to decide which list you are going to work to as there is more than one. If however you are indecisive you can do like me and use all three or more lists available.
There are three lists you can use on the Hill Bagging website. There are the 63 tops of the Historic Counties of England and Wales, the 55 tops of the Administrative (1974) Counties or the 149 tops of the current administrative counties and Unitary Authorities of England and Wales. Some are in fairly flat fields in the east of England and some are in the mountains of north Wales.
